An easy to use, lightweight, cost-effective feedback device designed to teach you how to contract your deep pelvic floor muscles correctly and effectively.
We know that strengthening our pelvic floor muscles can significantly improve or cure stress urinary incontinence, and that learning how to relax our pelvic floor muscles can help with constipation and pelvic pain. But knowing if we are contracting or relaxing our pelvic floor muscles correctly can be the biggest challenge when doing these exercises at home. The Pelvic Floor Educator can show you if you are contracting and relaxing your pelvic floor muscles correctly. The probe is inserted into the vagina and external the indicator stick will move downwards when you contract your deep pelvic floor muscles correctly and move back up when you relax them fully again.
Inserting the probe is often easier when using a high-quality water-based lubricant such as YES Water-based lubricant.
N.B. Do not use the Pelvic Floor Educator if you are pregnant, during your period or if you have a vaginal infection. If you have a mild Prolapse you can usually still use an Educator but if you have a significant prolapse (to the entrance or outside of the vagina) it may be difficult to put the educator in the most effective position.
