Book an online (video) consultation with Alice, a highly trained and experienced Pelvic and Women’s Health Physiotherapist who can guide you, based on your specific needs.
What to Expect
At Pelvic and Women's Health we offer ONLINE (VIDEO) APPOINTMENTS only. We do not offer face-to-face appointments but may be able to recommend a Pelvic Health Physio near you if this is what you require.
Assessment:
You will be asked questions about your general health and medical history as well as questions about your Pelvic Health (such as your bladder, bowel, menstruation, muscle and sexual function). This will help us to understand how your symptoms are impacting on your life and form an idea on what they think is causing them so we can give you the best advice possible. We understand how personal and intimate these topics can be and have done extensive training in this area to ensure you feel comfortable and safe during your appointments. You always have the right not to answer any questions you are not comfortable with.
Education and Treatment:
You will be given information on your condition and some ideas on what might be happening. Models and diagrams may be used, and you will also have a chance to ask questions at any time. We will give you specific, individualised advice and recommendations for treatment of your condition.
Follow-up Email:
You may receive lots of information and advice during your appointment. To make it easier for you, we will email you a summary of what we have recommended.
Referral:
If we think that you require an in-person/medical/specialist assessment we'll let you know and some options for this will be recommended.
How it Works
When you book your appointment, you’ll be sent an email confirming your appointment time and a link to your online appointment. Don’t worry if you haven’t done an online consultation before; you don’t need to download any software and it’s very easy to use. You should be able to see and hear your clinician as if they were sitting in the same room.
You'll also be emailed a couple of brief online forms to fill in before your appointment. This helps to save valuable time during your appointment so we can spend as much time as possible giving you helpful advice.
The video calls in Cliniko are "peer-to-peer encrypted". This means that the only parties who can access the call are you and your physiotherapist. The call can't be "intercepted" by any third parties. The appointment will be conducted in complete privacy so there is no risk to your confidentiality at any time.
How much does it cost?
Online Appointment (45mins plus follow-up email): $90
Subsequent Appointment (30mins): $75
